All the thoughts we have are just that — thoughts. We are not our thoughts.
Isn’t that kind of wild? 🥜 They carry no inherent weight. They simply exist.
Some feel positive, some feel negative. But we are the ones who assign them meaning. Through our perspective, opinions, and past experiences.
Let’s say I met a bear in the forest. I wouldn’t need to consciously think “this is dangerous” to automatically start running away. 🏃🏻➡️
But I can sit at home, afraid of the thought of a bear. That thought, by itself, has no impact on whether I’ll actually meet a bear in the forest one day.
Thoughts are just thoughts. And that is incredibly freeing. Which thought will you drop today?
