I love the feeling of being on an airplane.
It actually starts much earlier — at the airport, when the noise of everyday life slowly fades away. And then something interesting happens. As the plane begins to take off, the world below starts to shrink — and with it, so does everything that belongs to it. ✈️
From above, my city becomes smaller.
And suddenly, so do my problems.
My identity.
My worries.
My challenges.
I realize that in a new country, a new version of life is waiting for me. A fresh start. A reset. Physical distance gives me perspective — and with it, clarity.
✨ It’s funny how simply moving away can make you feel like you’re allowed to begin again. (Hint: It’s true. And you don’t actually need an airplane to do it.) ✨
They say you can go anywhere in the world, but you can’t run away from yourself. Maybe it’s not the city or the people that are the problem after all.
Either way, this feeling is worth bringing into everyday life. Whenever I feel overwhelmed, I try to recall that sense of distance — the perspective that flying, and being high above everything, gives me.
I always step off the plane feeling refreshed, rested, and more positive. 🩷
I once read that it’s recommended to take six trips a year — simply for this mental reset. It doesn’t always have to be by plane, but honestly… it helps.
So yes — if anyone feels like buying me a plane ticket somewhere, my answer is YES! 😀 Don’t be shy.
What about you? ⭐
Do you feel that same sense of relief the moment your plane lifts off the ground? Tell me more in the comments — I’d love to read your thoughts.
Love,
Zuzka 💖
